Free e-book download: Learn the basics of Islamic finance
Islamic finance is growing. With that growth, the need to develop a consistent, standardized approach to better understanding the challenges and requirements of Sharia-compliant financial-related instruments and services is also increasing. In response to this need, GARP partnered with the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), to develop practice-driven risk management rules and approaches for Islamic finance.
The result of this initiative is The Islamic Finance Risk Initiative: Risk Management for Islamic Financial Institutions, the first book published that affirmatively explains how to assess and measure the risks associated with Islamic financial products.
The book, which includes a mapping of certain Islamic-based financial risk products, their structures and risks, and an analysis of those risks, builds a foundation of understanding around how Islamic products and services work. Only by understanding the risks surrounding these products can one assess their benefits and uses, and how to hedge exposures if necessary.
Download the free e-book now and gain crucial insight into assessing the risks and opportunities presented through the use of Sharia-compliant products and services.
